On the main screen, look in the upper-right corner for a blue circle with three white lines and tap it. This will open the menu.

Tap the gear icon labeled “Settings.”

 When the Settings window opens, there will be a list of thing with green bars to the right.  You will find "Notifications" at the bottom of the list. Tap the green bar to the right to turn on or off.
